Engulfed in the demands of an 80-hour work week or more and dealing with constant immediate challenges that always demanded my attention, I initially overlooked that I was full-blown menopause. This oversight kick-started an extensive self-reflection on my personal relationship with myself; I was completely disconnected. From this awareness, I've created a new way to be as a woman in business—a way to maintain high performance without sacrificing my authority or power as a woman.
